Flexachem offers a wide range of Tank & Pipeline Ancillaries.

Since 1985, Flexachem have been in the business of manufacturing PTFE/PFA lined pipe products and in 1990, we had the capability to produce 200+ PTFE and ‘Teflon’ lined items per week. While in present day we have moved away from the manufacturing of lined pipe, we certainly have held onto our expertise and are using it on a daily basis with consultations with our clients.

Apart from lined pipe products, Flexachem also specialise in Glass lined Pipe & Fittings, Expansion Joints/Bellows, Hoses, PTFE Spectacle Blinds and Safety Shields.

What are Expansion bellows used for?

Expansion bellows are installed to alleviate pipe movement owing to thermal expansion or machine vibrations that are transmitted through the pipeline. The allow axial or lateral movement of the pipe or compression/ relaxing of the pipeline. They are usually installed in long runs of pipeline or near machinery that will transmit vibration through the pipeline

What are safety shields?

Safety shields are covers for flanges that allow visual leak detection and reduce the impact of flange failure and spray of chemicals onto the operator.
