Tek-Check Check Valve
The Valtek Tek-Check non-slamming piston check valve offers rugged performance and reliable service for both corrosive and non-corrosive gas and liquid applications. It features smooth, nearly constant area internal passages that ensure high capacity flow with minimal turbulence.
The piston closes slowly when flow ceases or reverses, preventing pressure surges and effectively dampening pulsating flow. Tek-Check valves are widely used in the oil and gas industry, and in applications involving reciprocating and centrifugal pumps and compressors.
Maintenance is simplified due to the valve’s top entry design, which allows for quick access to the trim by removing the bonnet bolting. The clamped-in seat ring design avoids the maintenance challenges associated with screwed-in seats.
Tek-Check valves are compatible with many standard Valtek control valve parts, ensuring maximum parts interchangeability.
