SLM 6200

The SLM 6200 is a dual balanced cartridge multi-spring pusher seal designed for use in highly abrasive applications where corrosive, toxic, or volatile liquids are handled, and a single seal is not sufficient. It uses a pressurized barrier fluid to prevent process fluid from reaching the atmosphere, ensuring safe operation. The inner and outer seal faces are interchangeable, and the outer seal is shrouded by a gland for added safety. This seal is based on the SL 6000 design and is ideal for environments requiring tolerance to pressure reversals. It requires an enlarged stuffing box and does not need a bypass or external flush when installed into an open taper bore seal chamber.
