C-BPV Back Pressure/Relief Regulator

Lock-Open Lever: Enables cleaning with 50 psig (3.45 Barg) cleaning solution directly through the spring chamber area.

Steam-In-Place: Designed to handle steam-in-place (SIP) procedures up to 20 psig (1.38 Barg) of saturated steam.

Disassembly: The unit can be easily and quickly disassembled in-line for inspection and manual cleaning.

Material Compliance: All metallic wetted parts are made from 316L stainless steel, with non-metallic materials used for diaphragms and some plug/stem selections. The construction meets 3A Sanitary Standards, Authorization No. 782.

Pressure Adjustment: The pressure set point is adjustable using a hex adjusting nut or an optional Tee Handle.

Maximum CIP Conditions:

• Cleaning Fluid Pressure: 50 psig (3.45 Barg)
• Cleaning Fluid Temperature: 300°F (149°C)

Maximum SIP Conditions:

• Recommended Steam Pressure: 20 psig (1.38 Barg)
• Maximum Steam Pressure: 30 psig (2.07 Barg) (Note: Higher pressure may reduce elastomer life)
