Zook RAX Bursting Disc – Scored Reverse Acting Metal

The Zook RAX Bursting Disc (rupture disks) are Scored Reverse Acting Metal Rupture Discs designed to cover the majority of high-pressure bursting disc (rupture disks) applications and are designed to be used in the RAH Pre-Torque holder. This Pre-Torque holder is specifically designed for easier maintenance in your process line. They are a unique holder designed for use with multiple types of ZOOK Reverse-Acting metal rupture discs.

• Standard operating ratio of 90% of the marked rating on disc tag. May be extended to 95% of the minimum burst pressure. (Contact your Zook Supplier for operating ratio on pressures below 40 psig)
• Disc designs offer high cycle life (when compared to scored reverse-acting design discs)
• Sizes from 1″ (25mm) through 12″ (300mm)

Safety Relief Valve Protection:
When a disc is mounted under a Safety Relief Valve, the working components of the valve are isolated from hostile environments.

Option Liners:
TFE liners are available to provide protection from corrosive media. Please note that the maximum temperature ratings for discs supplied with liners are lower than on an unlined disc.
