Technical Data
Design:
- Scoreless design offers higher cycle life compared to scored reverse acting discs
- Certified for liquid, gas, or two-phase applications
Manufacturing Ranges:
- 0%, -5%, and -10% ensure the marked rating on the disc tag does not exceed the MAWP of the equipment
Vacuum Support: Withstands full vacuum without the need for vacuum support
Back Pressure Resistance: Withstands back pressure up to the positive set pressure of the disc
Product Build-Up Resistance: Smooth convex side exposed to the process media to resist build-up
Damage Ratio: 1.0 or less
Alignment: Unique alignment pin design ensures proper disc orientation in the RAH holder
Tag Information: 3-dimensional stainless steel tag, permanently engraved with complete disc specifications
Advantages
- Non-Fragmentation: Designed for safe operation without generating debris
- Longer Cycle Life: Scoreless design offers higher cycle life compared to traditional scored reverse acting discs
- Versatile Application: Certified for liquid, gas, or two-phase applications, making it suitable for various industries
- Vacuum and Back Pressure Resistance: Capable of handling full vacuum and back pressure up to the disc’s set pressure
- Easy Maintenance: When used with the RAH Pre-Torque Holder, the RA8 discs allow for simplified installation and maintenance
