Zook Inverted Bursting Disc – Graphite

The Zook Inverted Bursting Disc (Rupture Disc) is the best choice for higher burst ratings. These Burst ratings are 0.25 to 1,000 psig or higher.

• Mounts directly between standard ASME B16.5 flanges
• Sizes 1/29 thru 249 diameters
• Designed to fit ASME B16.5 Class 150 and 300 flanges
• Burst ratings 0.25 to 1,000 psig or higher
• 0% manufacturing range
• Flat surface of the disc contacts the process media
• Operating pressures to 90% of the disc’s marked burst pressure (Contact your Zook supplier for operating ratio for burst pressures below 40 psig)
• Temperature ratings –179°C to +371°C (–290°F to +700°F) Maximum temperature rating without insulation is 221°C (430°F) or 371°C (700°F) with insulation. Contact your Zook for higher temperature ratings. The specified temperature shall be at the disc location at the time when the disc is expected to rupture
• Sizes: 19, 1-1/29, 29, 39 to fit ASME B16.5 Class 300 flanges.
• Burst Ratings: 175, 200, 225, 250, 275, 300 psig @ 22°C (72°F).  Note: Sizes 39 through 89ASME B16.5 Class 150 flanges with burst ratings 125, 150 psig @ 22°C (72°F)
• Process pressure is applied to the flat side of the rupture disc
• Stocked ratings are available for immediate shipment
• ASME UD, PED/CE and TUV markings available
