DA1 Pressure Reducing Regulator- Spring Operated
The DA1 is a high performance, spring operated, flow-to-open, pressure reducing regulator with internal pressure balancing piston-cylinder that provides high flow capacity and high pressure drop capability.
Internal trim design allows the same basic unit to cover a broad range of pressure settings.
Performance approaches that of competitive pilot-operated designs in the basic construction.
Applied primarily in clean gaseous or liquid services. Truly a “DO-ALL” pressure regulator. The “DO-ALL” design allows application of all types of clean fluids.
Designed primarily for gaseous and liquid service applications where excessive cavitation is absent. Excellent for atmospheric industrial gases – GN2 , GOX, Ar, He, H2 , CO2 – as well as a natural gas regulator.
Used as a utilities (air, oil, water, steam) regulator. Corrosive and non-corrosive chemical services – gas or liquid – are possible with broad materials range. Special variations available for cryogenic gas; consult factory.
Multiple composition materials provide Class IV or VI inboard leak age rates.
Designed as a soft-seated valve. Capacity is highest in the industry.
Allows smaller body sizes than competitors in a majority of applications.
Pressure Drop is highest in the industry when coupled with high flow capacity.
“DO-ALL” trim design provides FTO and pressure balancing for higher in let pressure. Results in unmatched sensitivity and stability. Internals are cage-contained within easily removable quick change trim.
Basic valve gives outstanding range ability due to close tolerances, balanced trim, and a broad range of elastomeric diaphragms and soft seats. Can be as high as 1000:1.
Both top and bottom guided to maintain stability and increased diaphragm life.
Fails open on loss of P1 or P2 pressures.
