For applications that require exceptionally high cycle life Flowserve has developed the UHC (Ultra High Cycle) VL actuator. While the standard VL cylinder lasts for hundreds of thousands of cycles, the UHC VL actuator is good for millions of cycles. The life cycle engineered UHC VL actuator uses all the same major components of the VL cylinder actuator, changing only a few smaller parts to extend the life.
