Split Seal (MSS)

The MSS Split Seal is a split, single outside seal designed for use on large, heavy, or inaccessible equipment where seal changeout is costly or prohibitive. The split design facilitates installation without dismantling the equipment. The seal features self-lubricating faces that dissipate heat and can run dry. It also withstands pressure reversals common to agitator services. Very easy to install and maintain, the seal handles runouts up to 0.150″ TIR (3.8mm) and includes non-metallic wetted parts.
