SIHImulti Pump MSH
The SIHImulti Pump MSH is a horizontal multistage centrifugal pump designed with a ring-section construction. It meets the technical standards of ISO 5199 / EN 25199 and is engineered for high-pressure applications up to PN 160. The pump features an advanced modular design that minimizes the number of parts while maximizing interchangeability. Its impeller diameter and diffuser size are optimally selected to match the required duty conditions. The MSH pump can be customized for various working points with different hydraulic impeller and diffuser sizes installed in a standardized casing.
The pump is equipped with a suction impeller in the first stage and balances axial thrust using a balance drum and balance disc. For specialized applications, an additional balance disc lift-off device is available. The balance line returns to the suction casing or upstream vessel. The pump features standard suction casing construction with either axial or radial inlet nozzles. It uses packing or mechanical seals for shaft sealing, with options for cooled or uncooled designs.
The rotor is supported by oil-lubricated anti-friction bearings on the discharge side and self-adjusting sleeve bearings or oil-lubricated anti-friction bearings on the suction side. The casing components are sealed with O-rings and held together by external tie rods. The pump feet are bolted to the suction casing to allow flexible nozzle positioning for additional piping options. The pump can be driven from either the discharge or suction side, and can be equipped with dummy stages or an interstage bleed-off device if required.
