The SED Type 285 Diaphragm Valve is a pneumatically actuated valve designed for precise flow control in demanding applications. Featuring a normally open configuration, it can be easily converted to spring-to-open or double-acting operation to suit varying system requirements. Engineered for versatile mounting in any position, the actuator is maintenance-free, ensuring long-lasting and reliable performance.

Constructed from high-grade materials, the valve body is available in PVC, PP, and PVDF as standard, with CPVC and ABS as optional choices. Diaphragms are offered in EPDM, Viton®, and Teflon®, with NBR (Perbunan) and Hypalon® (CSM) available on request. The valve supports pressures up to 10 bar and operates efficiently at actuator temperatures up to 80°C.
