Mark Six Cryogenic Control Valve
The Flowserve Valtek Mark Six is a globe-style, single-seat, top-entry automatic control valve with a fabricated extension designed for cold box cryogenic applications down to -425°F / -218°C. Constructed from bronze or austenitic stainless steel, the Mark Six ensures high impact strength at low temperatures and minimal heat transfer. It offers high flow capacity with reduced mass to minimize boil-off during valve cool-down.
The extension design of the Mark Six allows easy access and removal of the valve trim without dismantling the cold box. The valve is also equipped with a standard, high-performance Valtek cylinder actuator, providing high thrust for tight shutoff and accurate control. The Mark Six Low Flow variant is designed for low flow applications, featuring the same benefits as the standard Mark Six. Additionally, the valve is available with CavStream trim, which is effective in controlling cavitation damage in moderately cavitating services.
