Glass Lining G2208

3V Glasscoat is recognised in the market for its considerable innovative ability in formulating glass linings.

The G22 glass lining, which has been used very successfully for some time has now been further enhanced by the G2208, which has superior chemical and physical characteristics, this has been trialed, tested and approved.

Chipping tendency  none, if subjected to normal conditions of use
Flexibility  bends until permanent deformation of the steel
Tensile strength  resists until the yield point of the steel
HV Hardness  650 – 700
Thermal conductivity coefficient 1.2 W / m K
Specific heat 0.8 kJ / kg K
Electrical resistivity ~ 1012 – 1014  Ω / cm at 20°C
Dielectric rigidity 30 – 35 KV / mm
 Surface extremely smooth, shiny, easy to clean, impermeable to gas, with good resistance to wear
Quality control conforms with EN 15159-1, 15159-2, 15159-3
