The Flotronic 500 Series pumps offer a cost-effective solution for demanding pumping applications requiring product compatibility, such as handling solvents, dyes, acids, and other specialist chemicals.

 

Built with a solid plastic body and manifolds, these pumps provide enhanced safety and performance while remaining easy to maintain, thanks to Flotronic’s innovative “One-Nut” design. Available with ATEX compliance and multiple optional materials, the 500 Series ensures durability, versatility, and efficiency across various industries.

 

These pumps are capable of dry running, stopping/restarting against closed or open valves without damage, and reducing downtime with minimal maintenance requirements.

Specifications

  • Performance:
    • Self-priming with suction lift:
      • Dry: 3.6m (12ft)
      • Wet: 8m (26ft)
    • Maximum flow rate: 908 ltr/min.
    • Operating temperature: Up to 80°C (176°F).
    • Maximum operating pressure: 7.2 bar (105 PSIG).
  • Connections: Sizes range from ½” to 3”, with various connection types available (BSPT, BSPP, NPT, RJT, IDF, ISS, DIN, ANSI, and more).

Materials

  • Wetted Parts:
    • Body and Manifolds: Polypropylene, PVC, Polyethylene, Aluminium.
    • Thrust Tube: 316 Stainless Steel, Polypropylene, PVC, PVDF-sleeved.
    • Diaphragms: PTFE-faced with Nitrile or EPDM backing, or solid Nitrile/EPDM.
    • Balls: PTFE, Nitrile, 316 Stainless Steel, EPDM.
    • Seats: Polypropylene, PVC, Polyethylene.
  • Non-Wetted Parts:
    • E Version: Coated Carbon Steel.
    • S Version: Stainless Steel.
