CORA Steri Lift

The CORA Steri Lift is a drum, bin or bag positioner/lift/mixer that can be used in sterile rooms, and which allows quick and efficient process handling. The experience in facing the complexity of the strict norms.

The main characteristics of the CO.RA. “STERI LIFT” is the hydraulic piston, completely enclosed in a carter. Any kind of contamination is avoided thanks to the perfect seal, as all movements are
motorized through a motor/hydraulic pump with electric drive. The motor is located inside the base of the STERI LIFT itself, while it’s casing (in AISI 304 stainless steel) provides insulation from the working environment. The absence of exposed chains, gears, guides, eyelets and electrical and mechanical parts, as well as its realization with rounded surfaces, makes cleaning operations of the CORA Steri Lift easy.

The CORA Steri Lift complies with the recommendations of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) ensuring maximum protection of health and the prevention of accidents to the operator during the work cycle. The surface of the stainless steel parts not in contact is satin Ra 0,8 finished. Upon request and depending on the zone where it is installed, the Steri Lift can be supplied completely polished. The STERI LIFT, once correctly installed in its service position, is always ready to be used. Its typical installation is on the ground, but special ceiling mounted versions are also available.

Optional Benefits:

  • Adjustable product mixing speed
  • Adjustable speed for an accurate match/connection to the inlet of the machine to serve
  • Control valve to optimize the ascending and descending speed of the STERI LIFT
  • Control the opening and closing of the product discharge valve by means of a keyboard.

Safety Features of the Steri Lift:

The STERI LIFT is designed to give intrinsic safety to its structure, to prevent accidents or
dangerous situations while using the machine.

  • The hood- prehensile element group, in the event of a collision during the machine movement, does not cause damage, because the piston, which it is fixed to, consists of
    telescopically connected stems.
  • The hydraulic unit is designed to keep the STERI LIFT in the same position in case of a malfunction thus avoiding crushing or collision with things or persons under or near the
    machine in that moment.
  • To avoid that the operator may be accidentally bumped by the machine it is supplied with automatic working or mixing cycle, zone demarcation signals such as photocells, door lock
sensors or laser scanners can be supplied. Once they are turned on they interrupt all the movements of the machine putting it in emergency mode.
