Compared to a floating ball design, the AKH8 Atomac Lined Monoblock Ball Valve features a well-designed one-piece ball and stem unit. This integrated connection between the ball and stem enhances performance in sticky, adhesive, and highly viscous fluid applications, particularly in high cycling requirements where traditional floating ball valve designs may deteriorate.

The valve also incorporates the excellent static and dynamic body joint sealing construction of the AKH2.2, including the metal-to-metal connection, ensuring that piping vibrations and thermal cycling do not negatively affect the valve torque or body seal.
